Impact Injuries

Impact injuries are when you hit something hard or something hits you hard. For example, you hit your knee on something, or someone punches you.

Most of the time, you will be fine in the long run and can be treated at home, but it can result in broken bones, organ damage, concussions, or more.

To treat an impact injury, do the following

The best thing to do is to treat it early. Some methods you can do at home are

  1. Apply an ice pack
  2. Take Painkillers
  3. Rest

To make an ice pack at home, add 2 parts water and 1 part rubbing alcohol (70%) to a washed-out personal or 1-liter soda bottle. Make sure there is space in the bottle.
