Look both ways before you cross the street

When buying used things online, go with a friend and tell others where you're going.
When meeting for a date, meet first during daylight in a public place with other people.
If you hear a random crying baby outside, don't go outside and call the cops. It may be a lure.
Elevators are usually safer than stairwells. When you get it, press the close door button immediately.
If you are being robbed and have no choice but to give your stuff, throw the stuff in a different direction and run.
Get a keychain alarm
Carry a card with essential phone numbers and the initials they belong to, so you can use another phone in case of an emergency. Example: GVG 555-123-9876, MC 555-987-1234
