If you follow these general dentistry tips, you can have great and healthy teeth!
- Brush your teeth twice a day, once in the morning, and floss at night right before brushing for the second time, and use disinfecting mouthwash
- Avoid large quantities of sweets. Sugar leads to tooth decay
- Take multivitamins with calcium
- Drink plenty of water
- If you can, use an electric toothbrush
- With your toothbrush, put a cover on it. Example covers include a paper cup and the lid of a travel toothbrush case. Check it frequently for grime and mold.
[Remineralization]
When you first start feeling the following symptoms, take Calcium, Magnesium, and Vitamin K2 and D3 (often packaged together) while lowering your sugar intake. At night, mouthwash twice. If you still feel the symptoms, go to a dentist.
- Toothaches
- Toothaches when eating sugary food
- Sensitivity to hot or cold foods/drinks
- Frequent Bad Breath
Fun Fact: Pressing on your teeth with your tounge can slowly shift your teeth
That's why it's important to make sure that your tounge doesn't press against your teeth
