[Things to know]

-Rejection from a confession is better than regret over missed opportunities. Keep in mind you need to at least indicate/show that you like a person, as they are not a mind reader.

-Ask about their interests.

-Let them talk about themselves and listen.

-Confidence is attractive. Even if you don't feel confident, fake it till you make it. Avoid self-deprecation, even as a joke.

-A true love will understand your unintentional circumstances and believe you.

-You can't negotiate true desire.

-Give small gifts that you think they may like on the second date and beyond.

-It's not what you say, it's how you make them feel

-See if you connect.

-Look at their eyes.

-BE ALERT! Many people may drop subtle hints or clues during conversation, such as going somewhere illogical or doing something illogical. For example, getting coffee at night at their place, or studying together.

-Don't try to test your relationship by seeing how your partner reacts to movies. See how they act in real life.

-Girls are not like your mother and boys aren't like your dad. Everyone is a unique individual.

-Don't pressure your partner to tell you about their past trauma. This will damage their mental health. Instead, let them deal with it on their own. However, if they don't try to solve it and it affects your relationship, you can pressure them to deal with the trauma.

-Healthy communication is key. Many relationships fail because of lack of communication.

-If you are arguing, try to see their view, even if you don't agree with it.

-Don't overcomplicate your relationship with pop psychology and useless concepts
