Poisonous Plants

If you have a rash from poisonous plants, follow these steps.

(Hint: The irritation comes from urushiol oil from the plant)

1. Wash the area with water (and soap if possible). Make sure the water doesn't touch other parts of the body
2. Apply calamine lotion or hydrocortisone
3. Apply a cold compress
